Appointment Information

We are so excited you're here! You have taken the step to make your morning routine or life easier with permanent makeup. But more importantly we are honored that you choose us to give that to you. Our process is a team effort so please be sure to follow each step closely. There is a lot of important information here on this page, so be sure to bookmark it to reference back to in the future. If you have any questions at all please contact us!

** FOR YOUR SAFETY, WE REQUIRE THAT YOU COMPLETE YOUR ELECTRONIC CONSENT FORM ON THE PREVIOUS PAGE WITHIN 24 HOURS **

An important note for your health & safety: If applicable, please plan your appointment around your COVID-19 vaccination. The Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals Best Practices Committee’s medical experts recommend that permanent cosmetic professionals should refrain from conducting procedures two-weeks before or after a COVID-19 vaccination. If your appointment needs rescheduled, we require a 72-hour notice.

For your safety, please let us know immediately if you answer "yes" to any of the questions on the electronic consent form. If you fail to notify us of any "yes" answers ahead of time and we are unable to perform services the day of your appointment, or if we need to reschedule your appointment within 72 hours as a result of not being adequately notified your booking fee will be forfeited. If there are additional questions or if a physician’s release is required, we must have additional information and/or the release in hand at least 72 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment.

We have your Pre & Post Care Instructions for your service on the page below. Please understand that these instructions are mandatory for the success of your permanent make-up investment. We get asked all of the time if it’s okay to “bend the rules” or mostly follow the instructions. Clients just need to be aware that if they cannot skip their morning coffee or evening glass of wine in preparation of their appointment, retention can be affected and an additional session may be necessary. Coffee, alcohol, OTC pain relief, etc. can be resumed immediately after your service. We don’t do this to be mean, we want to help you retain the best results as possible and your permanent makeup results depend on you following the pre & post care Instructions. If color retention is affected by failure to follow the pre care & post care and more work is needed at the touch up session, an additional charge may be applied or an additional touch up.

We have a picture of the emotions and stages that you will go through during the healing process below the aftercare. This is simply a guide, not an exact representation of how the healing process will take place for each client. Days and steps may vary based on several factors, but this will give you an idea of what to expect after your service. Please refer back to this attachment after your appointment if you have questions about the healing process.

You will receive a confirmation request 72 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Please respond promptly to confirm. If you need to reschedule, we require at least 72 hours notice.

Pre Care Appointment Instructions

IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT discontinue any medications that are prescribed by a physician or doctor, which are necessary for your health!

If possible, do not take aspirin or other blood thinners 5-7 days before the procedure to prevent bleeding. Non-aspirin pain relievers may be taken up to one hour prior to the procedure.

Precare Instructions:

▪ Absolutely NO ALCOHOL, COFFEE or any other CAFFEINE 24-48 hours prior to the procedure to prevent bleeding and poor results.

▪ If you have a condition that requires you to take antibiotics before a dental visit, you must check with your doctor to determine if antibiotics are needed for permanent cosmetics.

▪ Botox and fillers in the crows feet area may alter the shape of your natural eyes. You must wait at least 4 weeks pre and post procedure.

▪ Lash growth serums: Please let us know immediately. Your appointment time may need to be adjusted. You must be “off” prescription serums for 4 weeks prior to your service, and off over-the-counter serums for 2 weeks prior. To protect your investment, do not continue using lash growth serums until 3 weeks after your liner perfecting session/once they are fully healed.

▪ Do NOT wear contact lenses to your appointment.

▪ If you wear lash extensions, they must be removed. Please plan to have them removed at least 2 weeks prior to your first session. To protect your investment, keep extensions off until at least 3 weeks after your perfecting session.

▪ If you are not certain that you can stay relaxed and in control of your eye movements throughout your service (no squinting, squeezing, fluttering, or opening unexpectedly), you may want to partner with your Doctor to discuss an anxiety-reduction plan for the day of your service. The risks of permanent eyeliner services are magnified when clients cannot relax, and your safety is our number one priority.

▪ Procedures cannot be performed over fresh sunburns, including those caused by tanning beds, or being in the sun during the summer. You must wait until the burn heals.

You will forfeit your deposit if you:

• Miss your appointment

• Are 10 minutes late to your appointment. PLEASE BE PROMPT.

• Reschedule or cancel within 72 hours of your appointment

• Show up to your appointment sick (such as coughing or the flu). If you are sick, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule.

The day of your appointment:

Be sure to follow Pre Care Instructions as directed.

Put your best face forward! Feel free to wear your makeup as normal(no makeup on the serviced area) as we will take before and after pictures of your service. If you don’t normally wear makeup, that is perfectly fine as well, arrive at the studio how you normally would for day to day activities and errands. If you would like a specific style or would like the service provider to see how you apply your eyeliner with makeup, bring a photo, NO MASCARA.

Out of courtesy for other clients as well and for our service providers, please arrive 15 minutes early for all of your appointments so that we can start your service on-time or early if necessary. Unfortunately, if you are 10+ minutes late for your appointment, we will not be able to proceed with your appointment and you will forfeit your booking fee. We are not able to cut corners or rush appointments and late arrivals do not allow enough time for the service to be completed within the time-frame that we have scheduled and set aside. Late arrivals are subject to being canceled and policies will apply.

For liability reasons only the client and the service provider can be in the procedure room at the time of the appointment. If you bring someone with you, they will be asked to wait in the lobby.

Parking and main entrance are located on the backside of the building.

Appointment After Care Instructions

Permanent Makeup Eyebrow Aftercare Emotions

We do a completely dry heal for your eyeliner. Do not apply any ointment or moisturizer to the area while healing.

Throughout the healing process, some clients eyeliner will flake and others will not. This all depends on the client. You know you are fully healed when your flakes have naturally fallen off. If you do not have flakes wait 14 days to return to normal water exposure.

Day 1- (Day of the procedure) Do your best to NOT touch the eyes. Before bed you can apply ice if necessary, but only if you feel it is needed. Do not apply ice directly on skin, and do not allow condensation in the area. Leave on for 10 mins max. If the eyes are swollen you may take a Tylenol or Ibuprofen. If you would like you may take a clean q-tip and get it damp with filtered water and wipe gently across top and bottom of the eye (if applicable). This may help with flaking and matting of the eyes the next morning.

Day 2- The eyes may be slightly swollen or puffy the next day after the procedure, this is a normal reaction. Some clients swell more than others, this is normal. The swelling should start to subside today or tomorrow. If you wake up with sleepy crusts in your eye, you can take a damp q-tip and get the excess out, try not to touch the eyeliner area, AND ONLY IF NECESSARY.

Day 1 to 10+ (Until the flakes are gone, some people may take 14 days to heal) Avoid water in the procedure area, do not fully submerge your head in the shower, avoid makeup in the procedure area, avoid excessive sweating, no sauna, no pools, no sunbathing (if you are outside, please wear a hat), DO NOT PICK the flakes at all (you may cause scarring or have poor color retention as a result). Do not directly wash the eyes, try to keep them dry. Wash your face in the sink with a wash cloth where you can control the amount of water.

If you use contacts it is best to go the entire heal time without using them, if you can not go without them please wait 48 hours after the service before putting them back in.

Please wait at least 14 days before wearing mascara, eyeshadow, foundation/creams on the eyes, or adding more makeup eyeliner.

After the procedure is healed, it is best not to use creams that contain acids or ingredients that will lighten or exfoliate the skin.

IMPORTANT things to remember during the healing process:

You can resume life as normal and are considered healed when your eyeliner is completely done flaking.

Your final results from session 1 and 2 are not complete until 6 weeks after your latest session.

Once your flaking has started, you will notice the color under the missing flake is light. This is normal!

Your color/pigment will continue to RESURFACE for 5-6 weeks AFTER your last session. Please be patient, this is a process.
